I am a photographer, artist, and mom of three, based in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Growing up surrounded by the beautiful, ever-changing light of the marshes and beaches here taught me to slow down and really see the moments we often take for granted. That’s what photography became for me — a way to hold on to those little pieces of life before they slip away.

My love for photography started when I was young, playing with film cameras and making collages of the everyday moments around me. Over time, that simple joy grew into something much bigger: a way to tell stories, to celebrate connection, and to honor how life changes in both big and quiet ways.

One turning point for me came during South Carolina’s 100-year flood. In the middle of so much loss and stillness, I captured an image that reminded me just how powerful a photograph can be — how it can preserve memory, express emotion, and reveal beauty even in the hardest times. That moment shaped not only my art but also how I see the world.

Through years of study — earning my bachelor’s degree in fine art and continuing my education at the Academy of Art University — I’ve honed a style that’s warm, thoughtful, and a little bit magical. My work is inspired by the idea that every family, every person, and every story is unique and worth celebrating.

As a mom, I know how fast time flies — how one minute they’re holding your hand and the next they’re all grown up. That’s why I approach each session with heart and care, helping you feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with photographs that truly reflect you and your story.
